Every Monday a new Tool Box Talk comes out for employees to review. In this section, you will find the weekly Tool Box Talk as well as an archive of previous issues. Tool Box Talks are also used to communicate reminders about important company information. This information can be found at the very bottom. Safety Manual
Gray & Son takes safety very seriously, that is why our number one motto is “Safety First!” Knowing our Safety Manual is the first step to knowing how to work in a safe manner so everyone goes home the same way they came to work. If you have any questions regarding any of the policies, please contact the Safety Department.
Safety Newsletters
The Gray & Son Safety Newsletter is meant to inform employees of incidents that happen within our companies to bring awareness so future incidents can hopefully be avoided. You can find the latest edition of the newsletter here as well as an archive of the previous months. If you have any questions regarding the newsletter, please contact the Safety Department.
Safety Reminders
- Make sure all vehicles are equipped with current insurance information & registration and a camera or camera phone.
- Safety Meetings will be held the last Wednesday of every month. Meetings are from 5:30am to 6:00 am in the Trucker’s Training Room. All our welcome!
- Have you had your annual Hearing test? Check with your foreman or supervisor to determine if you are required.
- Pre-shift inspections are mandatory Company Policy. With the upcoming increase in quarry work this is critical as they are regulated by MSHA (Mine Safety & Health Administration). MSHA can and will fine the company.
